Facebook Organic Lead Generation & Content Repurposing Checklist

What is this checklist and why you need it?

I have already released a Canva template on the Facebook banner and why it is important in organic lead generation with Facebook.

However, I wanted to take this a step further and give you a realistic example of what I mean by "adding value" in the Facebook comment section, and how you turn to use that as your starting point for content creation and repurposing.

Training: Adding value to other people's Facebook Group and replying to a post

When you reply to people's comments or posts in other people's Facebook groups you want to answer with as much detail as possible.

Ideally, a "mini-blog", as shown in the tutorial below.

Preliminary steps:

  • Join a Facebook group that has your ideal customer in it.

  • Browse through posts that

  • You can add genuinely add value to and reply in the comments section with mini-blogs

  • Once you also see good engagement with your comments engagement, optimise the Facebook profile banner for THAT specific group

Writing the comment / mini-blog:

  • Look at other people’s comments and see that they are short

  • Write your own answer starting with “Great question” or something that acknowledges the person posting about this, always a good way to make someone feel important and for doing the right thing by posting

  • Space out the sentences of the entire comment so it “hijacks the feed” and takes space on mobile

  • Always end with “Was this helpful?” or some question that encourages continuing

  • Once someone replies, keep the conversation going with more answers. Don’t rush them to your DMs. The more people engage in this post, the more people see your super helpful comment.

Do not say “DM me” or something spammy that might result in getting kicked out.

JUST. BE. HELPFUL.

Content Creation:

  • Write a mini-blog with a comment

  • Take that mini-blog and copy and paste it to a Google Doc and save it as content ideas bank/vault

  • Save this mini-blog as a Text Snippet using “TextBlaze” for later use

In my journey of building a business online, I found success when I first started out by finding customers in other people's Facebook groups.

I talk about that process extensively in 2 blog posts which you can read (linked below).

You can write blogs, or post videos and content on your own channels (Instagram, YouTube, website, etc), but nothing is going to get you more eyeballs faster than other people's platforms such as Facebook groups...

That's why I start THERE.

Then I repurpose that content to everything else.
