What is this training and why you need it?

This is a workshop on video creation and editing using Canva, DIY style.

This is not technically part of the Templates & Guides membership...

It is in fact, part of the 2nd tier, which is the Courses & Workshops tier.

But I wanted to give you a taste.

And remember, the video below is transcribed and has chapters so you can refer to specific parts you are interested in.

Creating videos is applicable to you for any of these scenarios:

  • Building a YouTube channel

  • Posting videos on LinkedIn

  • Creating an online course

  • Launching a video-based membership

  • Recording sales videos

  • Recording thank you videos

And now - you have a step-by-step demonstration of doing all of that using Canva.

Checklist

Here is your checklist:

  • Pick a topic for your video

  • Outline on a Google Doc your video script, with bullet points

  • Make the script as detailed or generic as you wish. The minimum is just bullet points of the segments you want to record.

  • Record 30-90 seconds segments on each bullet point. Or even 10 seconds if you're just getting started and want to take it slow. No rush at all.

  • Upload that ONE video to a slide in Canva Video Template.

  • Record the next one, and upload it to the next slide in the Canva video.

  • Use the Canva editing features to trim the videos.

  • Use the Canva features to add transitions between slides.

  • Add any text to the video.

  • Continue like this, one by one, until you have a full video.
