Pre-selling your Digital Product Workshop & Google Doc Template

Content

What is this template and why you need it?

Pre-selling a digital product is something you want to do in order to make sure people are genuinely interested in what you have to offer.

Quick back story:

Around 2020, I was getting very close to closing my debt and business was finally taking off.

It was my freelance business, building websites.

My advertising and marketing strategy was exclusively using Facebook Organic strategies which worked really well and I was positive other people would benefit.

But I knew that it works so well for me, I am not dying to give away all my secrets either.

BUT, if people were willing to pay for it, I was willing to share it.

I put together a webinar, did a Facebook post with the sales copy about what things are going to be included in this future course and if anyone wants to buy - they can get it now as a pre-sell.

I was inspired to do this by 2 videos.

One from Grant Cardone.

One from Mark Cuban.

(I'll share these with you another time on my YouTube channel, they are both 2 minutes each).

The point is, I didn't learn from any coach about pre-selling a course.

I was simply inspired by 2 quotes from these 2 super successful entrepreneurs.

And I gave it a try and it worked.

Within an hour I had 2 sales!

2 people paid me $125 for a course I didn't create.

I spent that weekend putting together a draft course, about 10 videos.

I continued to sell it and had total of 16 sales.

Most of them went through the course, and gave me feedback at the end.

I then released the FINAL course, which became the full Client Acquisition Course that is available in my membership.

I since continued to make periodic sales of $297, but ultimately I stopped offering it as a 1-time payment, and only included it when people join my memberships.

That was my first instance of successfully pre-selling a course.

And this concept of pre-selling became a stable strategy for me from that point on and I have done it multiple times, not just with courses, but also memberships.

That is the origin of the concept of pre-selling your course (in my years in business).

Based on the sales page at the time, I created a lead magnet called "Sales Page Template" which you can get a copy of here.

Google Doc Template Pre-sell (case-study)

The origin story you just read, well that was 2020.

Does it still work 3 years later?

I put it to the test with an "Affiliate Marketing Challenge".

This type, I put together a google doc and outlined what I thought would be a great challenge to teach beginners about affiliate marketing.

I decided to host it as a live 5-day challenge and instead of putting anything together, I simply outlined it on a google doc and then turned that google doc into an offer page too.

I am including this PDF for you to see for inspiration.

And I am including a Google Doc you can use to map out your own with similar prompts, although you are not obligated to follow exactly the same.

How to map out your digital product

I have a video on creating an online course and how to map it out.

But this SAME PROCESS applies to any type of digital product or membership.

Hey, I'm Eran

I'm the CEO & Founder of Eran Templates (duh), since these are my templates 😉

I've worked for years to create digital assets in my business from email content, Canva slides and posts, website pages, and more.

Now is the time that I share all these creations with as many people as possible to give them a shortcut to getting things done with less time and less effort (without a hefty price tag).

This page was created for paid members only at this stage.

Please do not share it.

You are always welcome to join the affiliate program and help spread the word.
