Membership Offboarding Email Template

It is a sad reality that at some point or another, you will have people cancel their membership/subscription with you.

It is a hard pill to swallow sometimes.

But that's part and parcel of the world of online memberships.

I have an email that I send to every person that cancels their tech support membership, and in at least 2 instances, it actually resulted in the person saying they want to come back to the membership.

Once I had that result, I made that email a permanent feature of my offboarding process.

I also have a whole automation process set up in the backend of systeme.io so when they cancel, that email automatically triggers.

Below in italics, you will see the exact email I send people when they cancel the tech support membership.

This is the subject line:

Hey there {first_name}

How are you doing?

I've gone ahead and cancelled your Dot Com Truths Tech Support Membership.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for giving it a try and being a part of it for the time you were.
