Knowing Your Numbers Template

For years, I've been going through my personal and business numbers at the beginning of each month.

If you don't manage your business based on numbers and statistics, you are making decisions based on emotion.

And that's not a good way to run a business.

Little back story:

Back in December 2020, I made a decision to test something brand new because it was clear that I needed to change something, based on the numbers and data to hand in my business.

I even wrote a post about it on my Facebook page at the time - it was all about statistics and testing something new because of what I saw in the statistics.

That test ended up completely changing the trajectory of my online business.

It was how my "done-with-you" service was born, which resulted in doubling my income and getting myself so booked out as a freelancer, I literally had no more hours to sell and was forced to launch a tech support membership in order to scale my business into a group format (a membership) versus just doing 1-on-1 which is all I did up until that stage.

That's the short story - long story for another day.

But the point is - it happened BECAUSE I made business decisions based on statistics.

This is just another reason why it was so important for me to share with you a Google Sheet template for you to measure your statistics and know your numbers.

Personal numbers, business numbers, etc.

This is not an area where I'm an expect - I simply do it naturally as a business owner.

I invited Phoebe Dray, my friend and client (and one of the Templates & Coaching Founding Members) to share her expertise on this topic in a virtual summit I hosted in 2022.

And it seemed like the perfect template to share with you here as part of this membership too.

I asked for her permission to share her template with all members and she agreed.

Lastly, I believe that there is a lot of marketing hype online. "Make 6 figures a year", "Get your first 10K months in 90 days", and things like that.

These are slogans that are potentially misleading and not always honest or genuine.

I believe that anyone starting online has ONE goal which is identical - and that is to cover your living and business expenses with passive and/or recurring income - aka make a living online.

Want to make millions beyond that? Great.

But the goal for everyone is to make a living - keep it simple, realistic and down to earth.

The best way to do that is to know your numbers - hence this template is one of the first I am sharing in this Templates & Coaching Membership.
